Pure logic is a kind of suicide, removing error and meaning from data. In the same way art is a madness that pretty deliberately shits all over logic and it’s specy face. Repetition is the rice of life. I know what you are thinking and frankly I don’t care for your tone. You are sadly lacking in sense and likely ill of mind. But I do love that initiative. You are digging for fire. Repetition is the rice of life. If you really want to do it I will show you. What you wanna do, is listen for that insane grandparent in the attic. Get deep down dirty with your face against the learning curve. Touch that errant floaty bit of magic and just rub a little between your fingers. Grease them grubbers. Grubbers greased you gotsta colour your nothing, do a teeny tiny bit at first and see if it leaks. If it leaks just let that shit ooze. And listen. If there is any sound at all you can make music any kind of light you can Burn. Through. Steel. Eventually Look at your shadow on the ground, and see that hateful aspect of a man this world has tried so hard to remove. Now that, is your enemy. The most preposterous construction. No construction without an erection and most excavations have them. And you keep on digging. And repetition is still the rice of life.

Introducing "Repetition is the Rice of Life," an album that defies convention and embraces the unexpected. Born from a spontaneous spark of creativity, this project merges poetry and music in a way that's both powerful and purposefully ambiguous.

It all began when Skin Vehicles challenged poet Sam D Wright to craft verses that were simultaneously impactful and devoid of meaning. The result? A poem that sounded powerful yet was nothing more than a collection of meaningless phrases, hidden within was a line that really stood out. A captivating line that resonated deeply: "Repetition is the Rice of Life."

Inspired by this mantra, Skin Vehicles reached out to his musical collaborator AneurGasm with a bold proposition—to create an album where poets from diverse backgrounds would lend their voices to verses that defy easy interpretation. With the only rule being to incorporate the iconic line, poets from the US, UK, and Canada eagerly joined the endeavour.

Each poet contributed their unique perspective, recording their poem to serve as the foundation for the accompanying music. Together, AneurGasm and Skin Vehicles meticulously crafted sonic landscapes that complemented and enhanced the essence of each piece.

The result is an album that's as eclectic as it is compelling, inviting listeners on a journey of exploration and discovery. From the smouldering streets of Miami to the vibrant cities of North East England, "Repetition is the Rice of Life" celebrates the diversity of artistic expression and the beauty found in the unexpected.

This is more than just an album—it's a testament to the boundless creativity that emerges when artists come together to push the boundaries.
